"The North Highland Way is a 114 mile route from John o Groats in the east to Cape Wrath in the west and links up with the Cape Wrath trail. The route encompasses the core path networks on the north coast and in between are sheep tracks and sometimes you are walking across heather. It is not a built path, but rather a way to go. The coastal route goes through some of the most spectacular scenery in Scotland, if not the world."
